Work. Work. Work.

Work seems to be the name of the game recently. As some of you may know I work part time at Bicycle Bob's here in Santa Barbara. Right now that is what helps keep the doors open at Stinner Frameworks. Hopefully the frame building will take off in the next couple of months and I can focus more of my time and energy on creating the best frames I can. I also do some repair work on the side for a lot of bike racers in town. Its a blessing and a curse at times. Last week I was super busy building up a Cannondale Super Six for a local racer, overhauling two S-Works 29er Hardtails and Fixing a crashed S-Works Tarmac SL3. Bike racing is in full swing here in So Cal which means bikes need to be looked after.

On the frame building note, I have been lucky enough to start building up a build list. I have a handful of people that are really fired up with what I am doing and they are letting me flex my creativity. As we speak I am building a lugged cross frame for a friend of mine that is traveling around climbing the top 100 US climbs. A lot of the climbs are off road and some of them are rugged fire roads. Its not going to be your typical build, so its been real fun to step outside of the box. Next up after that is a SS 29er for a really good friend of mine Perry Lieber over at Platinum in Montecito. I'm excited to build my first 29er and have Perry put the frame to the test.

Now its time to get back to work. I should be finishing up the cross bike this week and sending it off to paint. I have a new painter that I am going to be using and I can't wait to see how it turns out.

As most of you know. I really dig The Avett Brothers. They are a common sound coming from my shop.

I'll post frame photos next time. I promise.
